Nehru and Women

The relation of Jwahar Lal Nehru with different women is subject of intense study among the scholars. There is a question which ask that was the decision of Nehru at any stage influenced by his relation with the women. The second angle is mainly morbid in nature but that attracts the attention of the gossip groups and third page writers. In India, the men women relation of the leading personality is not discussed openly. Here is the news which are related to above mentioned discussions. It interest the people of history as strongly as it can be with other groups.
The report has talked about mother Swaroop Rani, wife Kamala Nehru, daughter Indira, sisters Vijayalakshmi Pandit and Krishna Huteesingh and nieces Chandralekha, Nayantara and Rita and family friend Padmaja Naidu as well as between Indira Gandhi and Naidu, and finally Nehru and Edwina Mountbatten. Well apart from that, there are many other women who had been a focus of the study of historians.

M. K. Gandhi: The Football Legend of India as per FIFA

The motive of the news report as it appeared in Economic Times which can be checked HERE, is not fully apparent, but there are many interesting bits of facts about the life of Mahatama Gandhi in that report. The literature on Gandhi is now more about what a scholar would write about his understanding of term Gandhi. But in the news report there is a information that Gandhi had organized Football teams in South Africa. He has been mentioned in FIFA website which I have yet not counter checked.

Buddhist Stupas in Chenab bed

Check for the news here. The report is about the successful excavation by ASI of Buddhist stupas in Akhnoor District of J&K which were located in 2000.

I am not expert on Ancient History but I feel pained when I listen to Medievalists who boldly say that Buddhism was destroyed by competing Hindu Religion. Hieun Tsang wrote about Buddhist Viahara in 630 AD. The issue of deconstruction of Indian history as written by Imperialist school remains. However, Bharat as a nation, is not ready to construct a history as per the craft of history that is appreciated by Western world.
