A rare Islamic Crystal Jug, which was earlier considered as a cheap French work of art is now pitched as a rare piece of art which is probably 1000 years old.

"The slim-necked vessel, carved from a single piece of rock crystal and decorated with elaborate engravings of cheetahs, was made for the court of the Fatimid dynasty, which ruled a swath of West Asia and North Africa between 908 and 1187 A.D."

Older Wall of Jerusalem Old City Excavated

Yehiel Zelinger, an archaeologist from Israel, has reported to have dug out 2100 year old wall around Jerusalem on Mount Zion at the southern edge of Jerusalem's Old City, dating back to the Second Jewish Temple, which was destroyed by the Romans in AD 70.

It is a period corresponding to 72 AD, the beginning of Saka Calendar, the official calendar of Republic of India.

The excavated wall was longer than the present wall surrounding the Jerusalem Old City.
